This Vaucluse residence underwent a significant transformation involving extensive structural works, including the removal and reconstruction of internal walls, flooring, and a partial roof. The project required careful planning and execution to maintain the integrity of the existing home throughout construction.
A key component of the build was the complex excavation through sandstone to create a new butler’s pantry and laundry. This work was carried out with precision, as a balcony, bedroom, and bathroom were located directly above and needed to be fully supported during excavation.
The home was upgraded with new windows and doors, refined tiling, and a complete joinery overhaul. External works included the addition of a swimming pool, while a striking 3 x 2 metre skylight was installed above the stairwell to enhance natural light and spatial impact.
